said County (by Adjournment) On Thursday the 22d
Day of October 1761. in the First year of the Reign
of Our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace
of God King of Great Britain Etc.
It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer
of this
County Do Pay to Mr. James Sturges Adams< no role >
the Sum of one Pound
Five Shillings and Six pence in full of his Account for Subsistance
of Vagrants to this Day And that the Receipt of the said James
Sturges Adams together with this Order shall be a Sufficient
Discharge to the said Treasurer
for such Payment.
