Middlesex


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of Our
Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks
Hall in St. John Street in the said County (by Adjournment) On Thursday
the Twenty Second Day of October 1761. in the First Year of the
Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God
King of Great Britain Etc. Before George Errington< no role > Merry Teshmaker< no role >
Francis Bedwell< no role > Bartholomew Hammond< no role > - Esquires and others their
Fellows Justices of Our said Lord the King Assigned to keep the
Peace of Our said Lord the King in the County aforesaid and also to
hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other
Misdemeanors Committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Tring in the County of Hertford Did at this present Session On
Monday last exhibit their Petition and Appeal to the Court Therein
Setting Forth that by an Order of Removal bearing Date the
Eighteenth Day of September last Under the Hands and Seals
of William Hallett< no role > and Samuel Harding< no role > Esqrs. two of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx. (one whereof being
of the Quorum) one Mary Dell< no role > was Adjudged to be last legally
Settled at Tring aforesaid in the said County of Hertford and was
Ordered to be and accordingly was removed and Conveyed from the Parish of Kingsbury
in the aforesaid County of Middx. et to the said Parish of Tring Whereby
the Petitioners Apprehended themselves to be Aggrieved which
Appeal by An Order of this Court stands Adjourned Unto this Day
Now upon hearing of the said Petition and Appeal in the presence
and hearing of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Kingsbury and their Council And this Court having heard what could be alledged in the premisses on either side It is Ordered that the
said Order of Removal and Adjudication of the said two Justices of
the Peace be and the same is hereby Vacated and Discharged
And the Appeal Aforesaid is hereby Allowed And this Court Doth
Further Order that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Trying Do Forthwith Convey and deliver the
said Mary Dell< no role > Unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Kingsbury or one of them with a Copy of
this Order who are hereby required to Receive Maintain and Provide
for her Until they can Free themselves from the Charge thereof by
Due Course of Law.
