The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Botolph without Bishopgate
London
.
Sheweth.
That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the hands and
Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said County of
Middlesex
(One whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the 18th.
day of January 1750

Mary< no role >
his Wife
and their
two Children to wit
Elizabeth< no role >
aged about Ten Years and
Mary< no role >
aged
about five Years were removed from the Parish of St. Botolph without
Aldgate
in the County of Middx aforesaid to the Parish of St.
Botolph without Bishopgate
London aforesaid alledging the
last legal Settlement of the said
John Smith< no role >
and his said Wife
and Children to be there And Your Petitioners Conceiving themselves
agrieved by the said Order and Judgment of the said Two Justices
Do humbly Appeal therefrom, And humbly pray Your
Worships.

Would appoint some day this present General Quarter
Sessions of the Peace to be holden for the said County
of Middlesex
to hear this Appeal And that your
Worships will make an Order that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St.
Botolph without Aldgate
And all Parties Concerned
in and about the premisses may then and there
attend hear and abide the final Determination of
Your Worships
And Your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
