Parish of st. George in the County of Middlx And to the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Woolwich in the County of Kent

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Maties Justices
of the Peace of the Said County of Middlx (Quor unus) by [..]
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish [..]
St. George abovesaid that Sarah Norman< no role > the widdow of
Richard Norman< no role > deced with her two daughters (vizt) Elianor
Norman
< no role > Aged 22 years and Mary Norman< no role > aged 19 years
is lately come into the Said Parish endeavouring to Settle
herselfe and Said two daughters there contrary to Law And they
being in Poor and mean Circumstances wee adjudge them
likely to become chargeable to the said Parish And whereas
it appeareth unto us the Said Justices upon Examinacon
taken before us upon Oath that the Said Richard Norman< no role >
was in his life time, last Legally Settled in the Parish,
of Woolwich in the Said County of Kent which wee
the Said Justices of the Peace do find and adjudge to [..]
true therefore wee adjudge the Said Sarah Norman< no role > and her
Said two daughters Settlements to be there in Right of her
Said late husband Rich Norman< no role >

These are therefore in his Maties Name to
will and require you to convey and Pass the Said Sarah
Norman
< no role > widdow and her Said two daughters (vizt) Elianor< no role >
and Mary< no role > from your Said Parish of st. George to the
Parish of Woolwich abovesaid and deliver them to the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor there or to some or one of them who are
hereby required to provide for them According to Law: Given
under our hands & Seals this 27th day of August 1730
