The humble peticon & appeal of the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the poor of the parish of All Saints in the Town of Hertford
in the County of Hertford

Sheweth

That by a Warrant or order dated the 24th. day of November
last under the Hands & Seales of D'oily Michell< no role > Esqr . & Alexander Pitfeild< no role > Esqr
two of his Maties. Justices of the peace for the Said County of Middx (Quor
unus) one Elizabeth Bates< no role > the wife of John Bates< no role > and John< no role > her son (aged
about one year) the lawfull Issue of the Said John Bates< no role > & Elizabeth< no role > his
wife (as is alledged in the Said Warrant or Order) were lately removed &
conveyed from the parish of St. Leonard Shoreditch in the Said County of
Middx to the Said parish of All Saints in the Said Towne & County of
Hertford ad the place of the last Settlement of the Said Elizabeth
Bates< no role > & her Said sown

The Appellants finding themselves agreived by the Said Warrant
or Order of the said two Justices Appeal to this Court against the Same

And humbly pray this Court will please to
order the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor
of the Said parish of St. Leonard Shoreditch & all
other persons concerned to attend this Count this
present Sessions to hear & abide the Judgement &
determinacon of this Court upon & touching the
Said appeal and that the Appellants may
be releived herein according to Law
