That in respect to the County Rate the Accounts
of Mr Benson as Treasurer of this County were
made up examined and allowed to the 20th day
of April last and by which Account there was a
Balance remaining in his hands of}£200..7s..4d

That by an Order of Court in April Session
last a County Rate was directed to be levied
for the Sum of} £4000..0s..0d

That Mr Benson received of the Rate imme-
diately preceeding the Rate in April and which
in the last Settlement of his Accounts was
Charged as deficient}£200..7s..3d

That he has received of different Parishes on
Accot. of subsisting the Wives & Families of Militramen}£80..10s..5d

That these Receipts amount to£4481..5s..1d

That by the Entries and Vouchers examined
by the Committee it appears Mr Benson has
expended}£3992..1s..6d

But a Sum of £50. twice charged as paid and
which ought only to have been charged once
and also the Sum of 17s. an error in adding more
than ought to be being deducted this Account
of Expended must be reduced}£50..17s..0d

Total expended after the above Deduction £3941..4s..6d

That the following Sums part of the last Rate
hath not yet been receiv'd Vizt.

That there remains in the hands of the legal
representative of Mr Benson a Balance due to
