A motion was made that the Plan marked R
Brettingham is entitled to the Premium of Ten Guineas and the same
was agreed to

Order for paymt
of premiums}

Resolved that the Clerk of the peace do issue the proper
Orders upon the Treasurer of this County for the payment of the above
Premiums to the Persons entitled to the same

Mr Leroux laid
His plan before ye
Court

This Court being Informed that Jacob Leroux< no role > Esquire
had prepared a Plan for a House of Correction for this County adapted
to the Ground approved of for that purpose A motion was made
that Mr Leroux have leave to lay the same before this Court and
the same being agreed to the said Plan was produced and inspected
by his Majestys Justices of the peace

The Three plans

deposited in the Office
of ye Clk of ye peace}

Resolved that the said Three Plans be deposited in
the Office of the Clerk of the Peace for this County for the use and
Inspection of His Majestys Justices of the peace for this County. And
Also that the Plan produced by Mr Leroux be likewise deposited
in the Office of the Clerk of the peace for the Inspection of the said
Justices, Mr. Leroux being present and consenting thereto

ye Duke of northumberld.

Resolved that Mr. Chairman and Jacob Leroux< no role > Esqr.
attended by the Clerk of the peace for this County be desired to wait
upon His Grace the Duke of Northumberland Custor Rotulorum for
this County to lay the said Plans before His Grace for his Inspection

is more proper for
a House of Correction
than the Ground fixed

The Chairman requested
to apply to Jervoise
&. Jervoise Esqr.

A Motion was made that it is the Opinion of
this Court That if the Ground which has this day been viewed by his
Majestys Justices of the Peace can be purchased at a reasonable price
and without delay and that the Expence of making proper foundations
and of Erecting a Building thereon for a House of Correction will not
greatly exceed the Expence of Building on the Ground heretofore
approved That the same is a more proper piece of Ground than
the Ground already fixt upon. And the Question being put there
appeared for the question 13 against it 4 whereupon it was declared
to be carried in the Affirmative. And the Chairman was requested
to apply to Jervoise Clark Jervoise< no role > Esqr . the supposed owner thereof
to know upon what Terms the same might be purchased
