His Majestys Justices of the Peace for this County in this
present Session of the Peace assembled do unanimously reelect William
Mainwaring
< no role > Esquire Chairman of the General and General Quarter
Sessions of the Peace for this County for and during the Half Year now
next ensuing

The following report from the Committee appointed to
examine and adjust from time to time the Account or Accounts of the
Treasurer of this County as well with respect to his Receipts as his Expenditures
and also to examine and audit all demands of what Nature or kind soever
made upon this County previous to the payment thereof being laid before
the Court Vizt.

"To His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of
"Middlesex in their General Session of the Peace holden for the
"said County in the Month of February 1785 assembled.

The Report of the Committee appointed "To examine
"and audit from time to time the Account or Accounts
"of the Treasurer of this County as well with respect to
"his Receipts as his Expenditures and also to examine
"and audit all demands of what nature or kind soever
"made upon this County previous to the payment thereof

The said Committee Report

That having taken into consideration the Order of
Referrence to them made at the last Session Vizt. "To take and examine
"the Account of the Executor or legal Representative of Mr John Benson< no role >
"deceased the late Treasurer of this County of all Monies received and
"paid by the said Mr Benson since his last account settled as such
"Treasurer and Receiver" and It appearing that Mr Margaret
Benson Widow and Relict of Mr John Benson< no role > late Treasurer of this
County is the only Executrix and legal Representative of the said Mr.
John Benson< no role > and Mr Benjamin Burchell< no role > attending for the said Mrs.
Margaret Benson< no role > the Committee proceeded to examine the Accounts
of the late Mr John Benson< no role > Treasurer of this County by which it
appears as follows Vizt.

That there are three distinct heads of Accounts Vizt.

1st. County Rate
2d. County Rents
3d. Haymarket Tolls
