Order on the High
Constables to pay [..]
the County Rate to Mr
Eyles}

Whereas at the General Quarter Session of the Peace held for
this County in the Month of April last a County Rate or Assessment
of £4000 was Ordered and made in pursuance of the Statute in that
behalf and the several Sums thereby assessed were thereby made
payable to John Benson< no role > Gentleman then Treasurer of this County who
is since deceased And His Majesty's Justices of the Peace of this
County assembled in this present Session having appointed Charles
Eyles
< no role > of Lincolns Inn to be the Treasurer of the said County Money in
the room and Stead of the said John Benson< no role > until the County day of
the next Sessions It is therefore now Ordered that the several
High Constables within this County who have not paid to the
Treasurer the several Sums of Money they were appointed to Collect
and Receive do forthwith after the Receipt of the several and respective
Sums made payable by the said Rate pay over the same to the said
Charles Eyles< no role > for the purposes in the several Statutes in that behalf
made

Election of Treasurer
to be on the County Day
of the next Sessn.

It is Ordered that pursuant to the standing orders of
Court in that respect that the Election of Treasurer of this County
and also Treasurer or Receiver of the Rents of the Lands and Tenements
the Estate belonging to this County be on the County day of the Session
of the Peace to be holden for this County now next Ensuing by Ballot.
the Ballot to commence at the hour of one and Close at three.

the Chairman to Jervoise
&. Jervoise concerng the
Ground in Cold Bath F.

The Proceedings at the last Session in respect to the Plans
of a House of Correction and also in regard to the Ground situate in
Cold Bath fields being called for and read and the Advertisement
which had been inserted in the public prints giving notice that the
said Plans and ground would be taken into Consideration this day
being also read Mr. Chairman stated that he had made
application to Jervoise Clarke Jervoise< no role > Esquire concerning the
said Ground and having laid before the Court a Letter from Mr.
Jervoise of which the following is a Copy.
