The prisoners in the
New Prison & The Ho.
of Correction being in
want of Fine
Ordered that 1 Bushel
& an half be procured
daily.}

It appearing to this Court that the poor Prisoners
in New Prison and the House of Correction at Clerkenwell were
greatly in want of Fire owing to the present severe Weather It
is Ordered that a Bushel and an half of Coals be procured
every day for the general use of the Prisoners in each of the said
Prisons.

By Adjournment at the Session house aforesaid
on Thursday the Sixteenth day of the same Month

of Correction opened
& Inspected

His Majesty's Justices of the peace now present
proceeded to open the several Plans for a House of Correction for
this County which had been delivered in pursuance of the
advertisements for that purpose in the Numerical Order in which
they were marked beginning with No. 1.
