Whereupon it being proposed that Sir John Hawkins< no role > Knight
be reelected Chairman for the ensuing half year and it being [..]
proposed that William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire be Elected Ch [..]
for the ensuing half year It was determined to take the sense
Court by Ballot and George Sporster Trifnell Esquire John B [..]
Esquire and John Barnfather< no role > Esquire being appointed Serut [..]
to Superintend and Examine the Ballot and Report the State [..]
His Majestys Justices [..] peace and Justices of Oyer and [..]
for this County now present proceeded to Ballot, and the B [..]
being ended, the Scrutineers withdrew to Examine the same day
being Returned reported that 51 Justices had voted of which
number there were for Sir John Hawkins< no role > 23 for William Ma [..]
Esquire 28. and that William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire appre [..]
duly Elected Whereupon it was Moved that William Mainwaring< no role >
Esquire is duly Elected Chairman of the General Quarter and
General Sessions of the peace and Session of Oyer and Terminer
this County for the Ensuing half year and the same being ag [..]
to Nem: Con: was Resolved accordingly

Moved that His Grace the Duke of North [..]
Custos Rotulorum of this County be informed of the appointed
of William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire to be Chairman of the Gene [..]
Quarter and General Session of the peace and of Oyer and Te [..]
for this County and that the Clerk of the peace do forthwith
upon His Grace to that end, which being agreed to it was Res [..]
accordingly.

Moved because oftentimes His Majesty's
pleased to signify his commands that for the preservation
public peace and other Public Concerns the Justices of the peace
the said County should be called together which Command [..]
usually been transmitted to the Chairman of the Sessions and
him Communicated to the rest of his Majesty's Justices of the
peace

Moved that the Lords of His Majesty's
Treasury and His Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State
the Northern and Southern departments be informed of the
appointment of William Mainwaring< no role > of Golden Square [..]
