it shall appear that the Beadles Shall have been extreamly vigilant
and have had great trouble in this service and then not in a greater
degree than what is recommended in the order of March 1759

A Motion was made that the said Report be confirmed
and upon the Question being put the said Report was unanimously
confirmed

And immediately afterwards A Motion
was made that it appearing to the Court by the above Report that
James Fielding< no role > Esqr. one of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the
City Borough and Town of Westminster hath within a very short
space of time wantonly and in one instances unjustifiably given
Orders upon the Treasurer of this County for the payment of several
Sums of Money to a set of persons who have made the apprehending
of Vagrants a trade whereby a sum of money to a large amount
hath been paid out of the [..] Stock of this County to the Evident
prejudice and Impoverishment of the Inhabitants of the County
Contributing to the said Stock and hath otherwise misbehaved himself
in his office of Justice of the peace a proper Represention of the
misconduct aforesaid of the said James Fielding< no role > be made to the
Right Honourable Edward Lord< no role > Thurlow Chancellor of England
in order that his lordship may either supercede the appointment
of the said James Fielding< no role > as a Justice of the peace for the City
Borough and Town of Westminster or otherwise prevent is accentery
the office of Justice of the Peace as to his Lordship shall seem meet
which motion upon the Question was carried in the affirmative
Whereupon it was Resolved that it should be and the same was
referred to Sir John Hawkins< no role > Knight Chairman of the Sessions to form
such Representation and whenSir John was requested to lay the said
