April 1779

A Motion was thereupon made that the order of
Court abovementioned of the Eighteenth day of February last be confirmed
which passed in the Negative but without prejudice to Mr. Akerman
on Account of his proposal

Ordered that the Clerk of the peace do return to Mr.
Akerman the proposal on Agreement which Mr. Akerman had delivered
to him in pursuance of the Order of the last Session and that he do acqu [..]
him with the above Resolutions

By adjournment same day

The Chairman having informed the Court
that he had received information that a certain part of the County Bridge
over the River Thames commonly called Chertsey Bridge situate in the
parish of Littleton in the said County was in decay and stood in need of
immediate Repair and the Court being also informed that The Jurors
for the Hundred of Elthorne the Hundred of Spelthorne the Hundred of
Isleworth and the Hundred of Gore assembled at this present Session of
the peace holden in and for the said County at the Guildhall in King
Street Westminster on Monday the Twelfth day of April One thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy Nine had presented the same in the word
following that is to Say "We present that a certain Bridge known by
"the name of Chertsey Bridge in the County of Middlesex is out of Repair
"and we also present his Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of
"Middlesex for not Repairing the same" And this Court taking the
premises into Consideration Doth Recommend and refer it to
