It is Ordered that Richard Hewitt< no role > one of the High
Constables of the Hundred of Edmonton in this County do attend the Court her
on Monday the Eleventh day of January next to shew cause why he hath
not levied and paid to the Treasurer the County Rate or Assessment upon the
several parishes and places within his district and that the said High
Constable do then account for the same Rate before his Majestys Justices
of the peace on the said Monday as he will answer for his further neglect of
his peril

It is Ordered that Sir Herbert Mackworth< no role > Baronet
George Forster< no role > Tuffnell Esquire Charles Gould< no role > Esquire and John Barnfather< no role >
be added to the Committee appointed at the last General Quarter Session of
the peace held for this County to take into Consideration the Claims and
Demands of Mr. Richard Akerman< no role > This name instance is in set 4413. upon this County in respect to the fees
supposed by him to be due to him for the discharge and Commitment of certain
persons in his Custody

It appearing to this Court that since the date of the last
Commission of the peace for this County a much greater number of Justices do
usually attend the Sessions of the peace than before were accustomed to do that
there is only taken of the Sheriff Wages for Twenty four Justices each day of the
Sessions besides two Shillings for the Clerk of the peace and that often there are f [..]
more Justices present It is Ordered that

or any three or more of them be and they are hereby appointed a Committee
to consider how the number of Justices who may receive Wages for attending
the Sessions of the peace for this County came to be limited to Twenty four and
whether any and what addition ought to be made and to Report their Opinion
thereof and the said Committee are to meet for the first time at Hicks Hall
Friday the Eighteenth day of December Instant at Twelve O Clock at New
