Twenty five pounds per Annum for the two Years past one [..]
on the County day of the last Session be allowed Mr. Hall for his
trouble Care and Expence in managing the Convicts committed
his Custody Your Committee are also of Opinion that in Comm [..]
of the increase of the number of Convicts in the Custody of Mr. Hall
the trouble and Expence in managing the same he be allowed a
Sallary of £50 P Ann. to commence from the Sixteenth day of
July last being the County day of the last Session Your.
Committee are further of Opinion that Mr. Hall do on the [..]
day of every Quarter Session make a Return in writing of the
Names and time of Commitment of every person sent in his
Custody by virtue of the Act of Parliament of the 16th. of George
the Third and the names of such persons as he shall have
Employed in the management and Care of the same

All which the Committee Submit

A Motion was made that the said Report be Confirmed
upon telling hands there appeared for the Question Ten against
Ten whereupon the said motion was withdrawn And it was
then Moved that the said petition be referred back to the said
Committee and that the Committee have power to enquire into
profits of the Office of the Governour of the said House of Correc [..]
which passed in the affirmative Whereupon It is Ord [..]
that the Petition of the said Edward Hall< no role > be and the same is
hereby referred back to the Committee aforesaid for their further
Consideration and Opinion whether any and what compens [..]
shall be made to the said Edward Hall< no role > for the Services the re [..]
mentioned and the said Committee is hereby empowered to enqu [..]
into the profits of the said Office of Governour of the said House of [..]
Correction And that the said Committee do meet for the first
time on such day and at Such place as the Reverend Sir Ge [..]
Booth Baronet Shall appoint and afterwards do meet and
adjourn at pleasure

withdraw his name from amongst those named of the said
Committee It is Ordered that Richard Paul Jodrell< no role >
Esquire and Thomas Tryon Colton Esquire be added as
members of the said Committee
