Jodrell William Mainwaring Charles Sheppard Thomas [..]
Thomas Brooksbank Thomas Parker Esquires and any other
Gentleman in the Commission of the peace who may please to attend or
any three of them a Committee to carry into immediate and effectual
Execution the Repair of New Prison and Clerkenwell Bridewell

All which the Committee Submit Etc

A Motion was made that after the words The Reverend
Sir George Booth< no role > Baronet " The words Sir John Chetwode< no role > Baronet
be inserted and the same was agreed to

A Motion was then made that these words in the said
Report Vizt. "and any other Gentleman in the Commission of the peace
who may please to attend" be omitted and the same being agreed to

A Motion was made that the Report so amended and
Altered be Confirmed was agreed to whereupon It is Ordered
that the said Report so amended and altered as aforesaid be and the
same is hereby Ratified and Confirmed accordingly

And it is further Ordered that such parts only of the
Orders of Court of the 30th. of April 1772 the 22d. October 1772 the 22d. of April
1773 and the 14th. of September 1775 as regards the Nomination and
appointment of several Gentlemen in the Commission of the peace for this
County to be of the said Committee be and they are hereby annulled and
discharged

By adjournment same day

This Court being informed that the Contract for paving
andkeeping in repair the pavement of a certain Bridge called Brentford
Bridge situate at Old Brentford in the parish of Ealing otherwise zealing
in the said County of Middlesex would Expire one Michaelmas day
next It is Ordered that it be and it is hereby referred and
recommended unto James Clitherow< no role > Esquire John Drinkwater< no role > Esquire
and Stephen Cole< no role > Esquire three of his Majestys Justices of the peace
for this County residing near untounto the said Bridge to meet together
and examine the pavement of the said Bridge and to report their
Opinion to the Court of the State and Condition in which the same now
is.

A Petition from Mr. William Davis< no role > Executor of
the last will and Testament of John Wilkins< no role > deceased who was under
agreement with his Majestys Justices of the peace for this County for
this County
for the paveing andkeeping in Repair the pavement of
Brentford Bridge praying an Order for the payment of Eighteen
Pounds being two Years allowance under the said Agreement due
Michaelmas day last being laid before the Court It is Ordered
that the Consideration of the said petition be postponed until the Gentlem [..]
to whom it is referred to Examine into the present State of the pavement
of the said Bridge shall have made their Report of and concerning
the same
