the same being agreed to nemine Contradicenter It is Ordered
that the said Report be and the same is hereby confirmed according
And it is further Ordered that the Treasurer of this County
forthwith pay or cause to be paid unto Mr. Edward Hall< no role > Governor of [..]
House of Correction at Clerkenwell the Sum of Fifty Pounds as also
Yearly and every Year until further Order of Court to the Contrary th [..]
the first Year to commence and be computed from the Sixteenth
day of July now last past by half Yearly payments the Sum or
Sallary of Fifty Pounds and the receipt of the said Edward Hall< no role >
together with this Order shall be a sufficient discharge to the said
Treasurer for such payments

The following Report of the Committee appointed to
examine the List of Members of the Committee appointed to carry
into immediate and effectual Execution the Repair of New prison
and Clerkenwell Bridewell and to form a New List of such Gentlemen
in the Commission of the peace for this County as will and are most
likely to attend the business of the said Committee being laid before the
Court and the same being read Vizt.

To His Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the peace held at Hicks
Hall in Saint John Street (by adjournment) on Thursday the 22d. day
of October 1778 assembled

The Report of the Committee appointed
to Examine the List of Member of the Committee
appointed to carry into immediate and Effectual
Execution the Repair of New Prison and Clerken [..]
Bridewell and to form a New List of such
Gentlemen in the Commission of the peace for the
County as will and are most likely to attend [..]

The said Committee Report

That in pursuance of the Order of reference to them made
Vizt. "To Examine the List of Members of the said Committee and to form
a New List of such Gentlemen in the Commission of the peace for this County
as will and are most likely to attend the Business of the said Committee
having Examined the list of the names of those Gentlemen who had by
different Orders of Court been nominated of the said Committee Your
Committee do recommend it to Your Consideration to constitute and
