said County residing in the Division in which any of the said
Fairs or pretended Fairs as holden or any two or more of them
to meet together at such place or places in or near such fairs
or Fairs and at such time or times as they shall in this Behalf
appoint in order to proceed against such offenders as shall be
brought before them by the said High Constable or other Peace
officers according to Law and the respective High Constable of
the said respective Divisions and other Peace officers are required
to be aiding and assisting to the said Justices of the peace
and
to observe their orders and directions for the more effectual
suppressing and Preventing the abuses aforesaid
And it is
further commended to the said Justices to prevent or suppress
as fair as in them lies all Tipling and Selling of Liqui [..] in any
[..] house Booth shed or Place in or near any of the said
fairsand this order is declared to be a standing order of this Court
and to continue in force until the same shall be repealed or discharged
by same future order of this Court and it is further ordered by
this Court that this order be forthwith printed and that the
High Constables in the said Respective Divisions do cause
printed Copies thereof to be posted up in proper places for the better
Notification thereof

A Report from the Committee of His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex
appointed to oppose all
attempts in Parliament that may affect the Interest of this County
in the St. James's Haymarket
or deprive the Justices of their
Conroul which for the Benefit of the Public they have over the
same and to give such orders as may be necessary to enforce the
Laws relative thereto and to pursue the Speediest and most
effectual methods to promote and secure the Interest of the
County therein and also repave so much of the Haymarket
within the Jurisdiction of the Justices as is described in the act of
Parliament made in the 8th. and 9th. Years of the Reign of King
William the third and contract with the Requisite workmen
for the Performance of the same and do all other matters and
things in the Execution thereof as shall be fit and necessary
being laid before this Court the same was read Article by
