Justices shall for that purpose appoint And it was thereupon
Ordered that upon his entring into Contract with four or five of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace aforesaid in that behalf appointed
and giving Bond for the performance of such Contract he should
be employed in and to do and Execute the said Repairs and
Works Now These Presents Witness that the said
Francis Buskin< no role > for the Consideration aforesaid hath
Covenanted Contracted and agreed and doth hereby for
himself his Executors and administrators Covenant contract
and agree to and with the said John Hawkins< no role > Sir Henry
Cheere George Errington< no role > Bartholomew Hammond< no role > and Benjamin
Cowley
< no role > their Executors and Administrators in manner following
that is to say That he the said Francis Buskin< no role > his Executors
and Administrators shall and will find and provide carry
set up drive fix Employ and use all such Piles as shall be
wanting in the said Repairs from thirty three Feet to thirty six
Feet in length And from fourteen Inches to seventeen Inches
square in the middle and allowing one Square equal to two
Wains at and for the rate or price of Four Shillings by the Foot
Cube including Iron Shoes and all Labour And also do and
shall find provide carry lay affix Employ and use all such three
inch Oak Plank without Sap or Wain as shall be necessary
against the Barge Piers and Angles to make good where wanting
on the Top of the said Bridge or elsewhere Spikes and Labour
included at the price or rate of One Shilling by the Foot
superficial also all such two Inch and half Oak Plank without
Sap or wain that shall or may be wanted in the said Repairs at
the Rate or price of ten pence by the Foot superficial Spikes and
Labour included also all such two inch Oak Plank without
Sap or Wain that shall or may be wanted in or about the said
Repairs Spikes and Labour included at eight pence by the Foot
superficial Also all such Oak as shall be wanted for Compass
Braces in the said Repairs including Labour and Spikes at
the rate or price of five Shillings by the foot Cube Also all such
cubed Oak as shall be cut into Joists and used in the said Repairs
at the Rate or price of four Shillings by the foot Cube (Labour
