Order for taking
Confessions upon Indictmt.
without Councel.}

Whereas Several Persons Indicted at the Sessions of the
Peace for the County of Middx for Assaults or other Offences
do Sometimes for Saving expences confess the Facts charged
in the Indictments preferred against them This Court is
of opinion that the Persons So indicted or to be Indicted have a right to confess
Such Indictments and to be heard themselves in person without
Councel, And also that the Prosecutors themselves have a
right to be heard and to give Evidence upon Such Confessions
if they are minded So to do without Councel, And this Court
doth order the Same accordingly.

By adjornment on Thursday the 11th. Day of May 1749.

Order for adjourning the
Consideration of the Accot.
of Moneys claymed to be
due to the Inspectors
concerning the distempered
Cattle, and of Mr. James
Wilder the Clerk, and
other Matters to the County
Day of the next Sessions.}

It is Ordered by this Court that the Inspection and
Consideration of the Account of Moneys claymed to be due
to the Inspectors appointed in relation to the distempered
Cattle, and also the Bill of Mr. James Wilder< no role > Clerk to the
Justices appointed to oversee and give directions concerning
the aforesaid Cattle and other Matters which were referred by
an Order made in April Sessions last to the Consideration of a
Committee of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace of this County
therein named the adjourned until the County day of the next
General Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be holden for this
County at ten of the Clock in the forenoon, who are desired
to make their Report touching the Same to the Court of the
Same Sessions.
