At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign
Lord the King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St.
John Street in the County aforesaid by adjornment on Thursday the
twenty eighth Day of June in the eighteenth year of the reign of
our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great Britain Etc,

their Fellows Justices of our Said Lord the King assigned to keep
the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine
divers Felonys Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the
Same County,

Order concerning
the Meeting of Justices
of the Peace in order
to Suppress Tottenham
Court Fair.}

On reading and considering the Report made by the Justices
of Peace for this County residing in Holborn Division relating to
the Suppressing of Tottenham Court Fair, and the Order made the
last Sessions by this Court relating thereto, and which Said Order was
by this Court directed to be and has Since been printed, This Court
doth recommend it to the Justices of Peace residing in the Said
Division, that they do meet at Some place near to Tottenham
Court at three a Clock on the 4th. Day of August next and on the
following Days during the time the Said Fair used to last, and
that they do Order the High Constable to Summon the Petty Constables
Headboroughs , Beadles and other the peace Offices within the Sd.
Division to attend the Justices at their Said Meeting on the Said
Days and Hours, and to continue Such Attendance from Day to
Day and So often as the Sd. Justices Shall require, And to direct
the High Constable to deliver a List to the Said Justices at Such
Meeting of the Names and places of abode of the Officers(if any)
who Shall neglect or refuse to appear there to be laid before this
Court at their next Sessions
