and adjusting the publick Accounts of the said County) that they
have perused the Account of Mr.

the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
in the said County
beginning the fourth Day of December 1742 and ending the
third Day of January in the same Year and that they have
examined the same with the Vouchers and find that the Sum
of Fifteen pounds ten Shillings and Six pence is due unto
the said

and relieving of Vagrants & Vagabonds untill the said third
Day of January aforesd. inclusive And the sd.

Whereas

within the Hundred of
Gore
in the County of Middx hath Exhibited his Humble petition
unto this Court setting forth That he hath served the Office of High
Constable
within the said Hundred for the Space of three Years
And that he haveing a Great Deal of Business of Mannage and
Transact cannot attend the Duty of High Constable as he ought
to do And that he hath Collected and paid all the publick Money
to the Trearer of this County And the petitioner praying that
another person may be appointed high Constable
in the place
and stead of the petitioner to the end he may be discharged from
his said Office This Court being satisfyed of the Truth of the
premisses Doth appoint
