peace for this County and Such Other Justices of the
peace for the said County as Shall think fit to be
present or any three or more of them as a Committee
to meet together at Hicks Hall in St. Johns Street
in this County on Thursday the Sixteenth day of
December instant at ten of the Clock in the forenoon
and at Such Other times as they Shall in this behalf
appoint, to Consider of the late Act of Parliament made
in the thirteenth Year of his Present Majesty's
reign, Intituled, An Act for amending & enforcing
the Laws relating to rogues, Vagabonds, and Other
Idle and disorderly Persons, and for reducing the same
into one Act of Parliament; And also for amending
the laws for erecting Providing and regulating
Houses of Correction, And to Consider what in Conveineneys
have happened or been Occasioned by making the
Said Act of Parliament, And how the same may
be Prevented or redressed. And it is also recommended
and referred unto the said Committee to take into
Consideration another Important Affair in relation
to the Granting of Pass Warrants by Justices of the
Peace of this County for the removal of any Poor
Persons from the Parishes or Places to which they
are Chargeble to the Place of their Legal Settlement
It having been Represented unto this Court that by
a late Opinion of the Court of Kings Bench the
Justices of the Peace are likely to be very much
abridged as to the Authority by them formerly
exercised in relation to the granting Such Pass
