Order for presenting the
aforesaid petition to the
Honourable the House
of Commons}

Upon reading the petition above written his Majestyes Justices of
the peace for the County of Middx now Assembled in General Quarter
Sessions do agree to the same And do desire that the Members of
parliament for the said County be desired to present the said petition
to the Honourable House of Commons , And that Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr.
Chairman of this Court Sr. Joseph Ayfoffe Houlding Bart. John
Milner, Robert Hucks< no role > James Clitherow< no role > and Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > Esqrs.
Justices of the peace of the said County or any three of them be
and they are desired to attend the said Members of parliament
with the said petition.

Quarter Session By Adjournment on Monday 21st. Day of Febry 1742 before Sir

Mr. Samuel Greenhill< no role >
High Constable within
the Hundred of Gore
in Stead of Mr. Philip
Aldwin}

Whereas philip Aldwin< no role > High Constable within the Hundred of Gore in this County
hath exhibited his humble petition unto this Court setting forth That the
petitioner hath served the Office of High Constable within the said Hundred
for near three Years, And that he hath paid to the Treasurer of this County
all the publick Rates, And that the petitioners Affairs & Business will
oblige him to be from house & prevent him from doing his Duty in the said
Office, And the petitioner prayed that this Court will discharge him from
his said Office of High Constable Whereupon this Court being Satisfyed
of the Truth of the premisses doth appoint Samuel Greenhill< no role > of Roxeth
in the parish of Harrow within the said Hundred in this County Gent
to be High Constable within the said Hundred in the place & stead
of the petitioner And doth order that the said Samuel Greenhill< no role >
do forthwith (after Notice of this order) attend Joseph Taylor< no role > John Ludbey< no role >
Daniel Graham< no role > & Thomas Moore< no role > Esqrs . four of his Majesties Justices
of the peace for this County residing within the said Hundred or one of
them or some other Justice of the peace for the same County residing
in or near the same Hundred, And that the said Samuel Greenhill< no role >
do forthwith before the said Four Justices or one of them or other
Justice as aforesaid take his Oath for his due Execution of the
Office of High Constable within the said Hundred of Gore, And from
and after the time of his haveing taken such Oath the said
philip Aldwin< no role > is to stand absolutely discharged from being
High Constable within the same Hundred.
