Vagabonds This Court doth thereupon direct & order
Mr John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County to pay the said
Sum to the said Henry Walbank< no role > infull of his said Demand
to the Nineteenth Day of April One thousand Seven
Hundred and Forty two inclusive And that the said Sum
be allowed to the said Treasurer upon his Account

By Adjornmt. on Thursday 29th day of April 1742

Treasurer to pay £26.6s.6d to
Mr Samuel Attersell Keeper of
the tt:of Corr: at Westmr. for
passing & relating Vagabonds
untill the 2d day of April 1742
inclusive.

A Report being made unto this Court Ore tenus by
Nathaniel Chandler< no role > Esquire That he together with
Francis Hole< no role > & John Elliot< no role > This name instance is in set 3963. Esquires being a Quorum
of the Committee of his Majestys Justices of the Peace of
this County for inspecting and adjusting the Publick Accounts
of the said County have inspected the Account of Samuel
Attersell Keeper of the House of Correction in Tothillfields
in the Liberty of Westmr. in this County for the Passing and
releiving of Vagabonds beginning on the fourteenth day
of October One Thousand seven hundred and forty one
and ending the second: Day of April in the year 1742
And that on Perusal of the said Account they found a
great many Sums charged therein for the Passing and
releiving of Vagabonds which were greater than the
Settled Rates and Prices which ought to be allowed for
that Service and that they had Moderated and reduced
the Overcharges in the said Accounts And that after such
Reduction there is due and owing to the said Samuel
Attersel upon the said Account the Sum of Twenty six
Pounds six Shillings and six Pence for the Passing and
releiving of Vagabonds This Court doth thereupon direct
and order Mr John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County to pay
the said Sum to the said Samuel Attersell< no role > in full of his said
Demand to the second day of April One Thousand Seven hundred
and forty two inclusive and that the said Sum be allowed to
the said Treasurer upon his Account

By Adjornmt on Thursday 29th day of April 1742.

Constable within the hundred
of Elthorn to be allowd £13.13s by
him pd. for passing & releiving
Vagrants out of the County Rate
money reced by him as high
Constable & touching the Payment
of several Sums of money to Wm
Hildesley & other Constables for
passing & releiving Vagrants.

It appearing to this Court by an Account brought in by Mr Richard
Peel one of the high Constables within the hundred of Elthorn
in this County and also by the Report of John Poulson< no role > Esquire
being of the Committee of his Maties Justices of the Peace appointed
to adjust the Publick Accounts that the said Mr Peel hath paid
