Whereas John Allen< no role > high Constable of Finsbury Division
within the Hundred of Ossulston in this County was by an Order
made at the last General Quarter Session of the peace holden
for the Said County by Adjornment on Thursday the
eighteenth day of October last discharged from his Said Office
of high Constable, And the office of high Constable for the Said
Division is Still vacant, This Court doth appoint Thomas
Trueman of St. John Street in the parish of St. James
Clerkenwell within the Said Division and Hundred in this
County Gent to be high Constable of the Same Division in the
place & Stead of the Said John Allen< no role > , And doth order that the
Said Thomas Trueman< no role > do forthwith attend this Court and
take his Oath for his due execution of the office of high
Constable of Finsbury Division aforesaid within the Said
Hundred of Ossulston in this County.

Whereas by an Order made in September Session last It was
referred unto Sr. Thomas Reynell< no role > Bart . & Robert Hinde< no role > Esquire two
of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the peace for this County residing near
Chertsea Bridge to employ Some able workman or workmen to do
Such necessary repaires to be done to Such part of Chertsea Bridge
as is in the Said County (not exceeding the Sum of fourty pounds
as to the value of the Same) as they Should think proper to be
done for Secureing thereof untill there be a convenient Season for
the effecutal repaire of the aforesaid part of the Said Bridge after
Sufficient moneys Shall be raised for that purpose & for other
purposes by vertue of the late Act of Parliament for the more
easy assessing collecting and levying of County Rates, Now upon
information given unto this [..] Court that the Said Sum of
fourty pounds will not be Sufficient to defray the expence of doing
the Said repaires This Court being Satisfyed of the truth thereof
Doth order that the further Sum of five pounds be allowed & added
to the Said Sum of fourty pounds in order to defray the aforesaid
expence of doing the Said repaires, in a good & Workman like
manner, And the Said two Justices after the doing & performing
Such necessary repaires are desired to certify to the Court of
Sessions of the peace for this County what Sum or Sums of
money is or are or Shall be due to the workman or
workmen for doing the Same not exceeding the Sum of
fourty five pounds in the whole, And the workman or
workmen are to be paid the Sum or Sums of money
