Brentford Bridge not
exceeding £20. in the
whole}

This Court having taken into consideration the state
condition of a publick Bridge called Brentford Bridge in this
County (which Bridge hath been usually repaired at the Charge
of this County & which Bridge the Grand Jury hath at this
present sessions presented to be very much out of repaire,
and that it is necessary that the said Bridge should [..] be
forthwith repaired or rebuilt) It is Ordered by this Court that it be
And It is hereby recomended & referred unto Sr. Joseph Ayloff< no role >
Houlding Bart< no role > . Sr. Francis Child< no role > Knt . & James Clitherow< no role > Esquire
three of his Maties Justices of the peace for the Said County to take
a view of the State & condition of the Said Bridge And to cause
such necessary repaires to be done thereto and to expend such
Sums of money thereon (not exceeding the Sum of twenty
pounds in the whole) as they Shall think proper to be done for
Securing thereof untill there be a convenient Season for rebuilding
the said Bridge after Sufficient moneys Shall be raised for that
purpose, And It is hereby referred unto the said three Justices of the
peace to employ some able workman or workmen to do such
necessary repairs as aforesaid to the said Bridge in a good and
workmanlike manner, And the said three Justices after the doing
& performing Such necessary repaires are desired to certify to
the Court of Sessions of the peace for this County what Sum or Sums
of money shall become due to the workman or workmen for
doing the same, which are to be paid to Such workman or
workmen out of the moneys to be received by vertue of the
Rate made for raiseing of money for the purposes mentioned in
the late Act of Parliament, for the more easy assessing
collecting & levying of County Rates.

of the House of Correction
at Clerkenwell Etc}

This Court having taken into consideration the state & condition
of a certain prison called the House of Correction at Clerkenwell in
this County (which the Grand Jury hath at this present Sessions
presented to be very much out of repair, and that it is necessary
that the said prison should be forthwith repaired) It is Ordered
by this Court that it be And It is hereby recomended & referred
