reasonable, or Such as ought to be allowed, And to examine
and State what Sum of money is, in their opinion, due
to the Petr. for his trouble & expences in passing and
releiving of Vagrants, And to make their Report in
writing touching the premisses to the Court of General
Quarter or General Session of the peace for this County.

By Adjornmt. on Thursday the 28th. day of February 1739 .

Court}

It is Ordered by this Court that the [..] execution of
every General Release given or to be given by any
prosecutor to a Defendt. (who is or Shall be Indicted in the
this Court and intends to discharge Such Indictment by
confession) Shall for the future be proved by Affidavit
in writing annexed to Such Release and Sworn in open
Court by one of the Subscribing witnesses at the least to
Such Release, the Said Affidavit to express Such witnesses
true Name or Names, addittion or additions, and particular
place or places of aboad, And that Such Release and
Affidavit be Kept among the Records of this Court as a
Warrant to Justify the discharge of Such Indictment
