That for the better Securing the Bridge
& the Foot thereof as also
the Navigation of the River under the sd. Bridge as it now stands
or heretofore stood it will be Absolutely Necessary that the Wharf
Adjoining thereto & Extending in Length 245 feet Westwars of
the said Bridge shou'd likewise to Repaired.

That the Ground Adjoining to the Bridge
& which is Necessary to
be wharfed appears to be the Property of

making his Estimates for the said Bridge & the said Wharf Distinct
All which we submit to the Determination & Order

Whereas an Order was made by the Court of General Quarter
Sessions of the peace for this County on the Seventh day of July
1737 upon the Application of Mr. Osborne then Housekeeper of
Hicks Hall
whereby it was referred to a Committee of his
Majesties Justices of the peace
therein named to cause some
Necessary repairs to be done to the said Hall to secure the same
against the Weather, And whereas the said Committee directed
some repairs to be done thereto, And afterwards an Order was
made in the lifetime of Mr. Osborne by the Court of General
Sessions of the peace for the said County on the Seventh day of
December 1738 for inquiring what Debts were at that time
Incurred for repairs done at Hicks Hall
aforesaid and to whom
the same were due or ought to be paid, and how the Expences
of the said repairs might be provided for, And to make their
Report touching the premisses, And the said Mr. Osborne
afterwards dying, and no Report thereof being made, a
Subsequent Order was Afterwards made by the Court of
General Quarter Sessions of the peace for this County on
