Wroth Esquires Justices of the peace for this County or any
three of them as a Committee to take a view of the Said
House of Correction , And to take to their Assistance such
able workman or workmen as they shall think fit, And to
See what repaires are wanting & necessary to be done thereto,
and to make an estimate of what in their Judgment it will
cost well and Sufficiently to repair the Same and to find &
provide materials for that purpose, And to make their
Report touching the premisses to the Court of General or
General Quarter Sessions of the peace for this County.

upon their respective Bills
of costs for busyness done
for the County of Middx-}

Information being given unto this Court that there are moneys
due unto Mr. John Higgs< no role > an Attorney at Law & also Treasurer of
this County and to Mr. John Matthews< no role > an Attorney of his
Maties Court of King's Bench on the Crown side upon their
respective Bills of costs for moneys by them respectively disbursed
and for fees due to them respectively in making a defence
against the proceedings of those persons who obtained writts
of Certiorari for removing into the said Court Several Rates
made by the Courts of sessions of the peace for this County for
raiseing moneys for the passing & releiving of Vagrants, and
for repaire of Brentford Bridge in the said County in Order to
quash the said Rates and that there is also money due to the said
Mr. Higgs upon his bill for moneys by him disbursed and for
fees due to him in making a defence to oppose the granting
of an Information which was moved for against him in the
said Court of King's Bench by the procurement of some litigious
person or persons for his receiving moneys by colour of the said
Rates as Treasurer of this County, And that the said Mr.
Higgs & Mr. Matthews desire that this Court will be pleased to Order
the moneys due upon their said respective bills to be paid unto
them, It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby
recomended and referred unto the Committee of his Maties
Justices of the peace of this County appointed to take the
accounts of the Treasurer of the same County (to wit)
