And it being alledged that the Said Several Sums of money
amounting to the Said Sum of twenty two pounds Seventeen
Shillings and three pence ought to be paid to the Said respective
workmen, to whom the Same are respectively payable, (to wit)
John Whitford< no role > Plaisterer , Joseph Jackson< no role > Bricklayer , John Warden< no role >
Plumber , Cotes Dix painter, Richard Jupp< no role > Carpenter , Thomas Williams< no role >
Glazier & Charles Wainwright< no role > Smith, in case the work (which
they contracted to do) is by them done & performed in a good &
workmanlike manner, It is thereupon Ordered by this Court
that upon a Certificate under the hand of the Said Mr. Northcote the
Housekeeper directed to Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County
certifying that the Said work (which they contracted and agreed to
do) is done & performed as it ought to be, he the Said Mr. Higgs do
out of the moneys by him received on account of Rent due for
the Estate belonging to this County pay to the Said respective
Workmen the Said respective Sums of money due to them for
the work by them done as aforesaid in full of their respective
demands whose respective receipts together with this Order
Shall be Sufficient discharges to the Said Treasurer for Such
respective payments And It is further Ordered by this Court that
after the Said Cotes Dix Painter Shall have painted the Outside
of the Window Frames of the two Dining Rooms of Hicks hall ,
for the doing whereof he delivered in an estimate (over &
above his former contract) amounting to one pound and
[..] eleven Shillings and which hath been already Ordered to
be done, he the Said Treasurer Shall upon the like Certificate
under the hand of the Said Mr. Northcote certifying that the Said
Painters work is done & performed as it ought to be out of the
Said County Rent unto the said Cotes Dix the Said Sum of one
pounds & eleven Shillings in full of his said demand, whose
receipt also Shall be a Sufficient discharge to the Said Treasurer
for Such payment, And It is further Ordered by this Court that
the Said Treasurer do out of the Said County Rent pay unto the
Said Mr. Northcote the Said Sum of three pounds Seven Shillings
and ten pence by him disbursed as aforesaid, whose receipt
together with this Order Shall also be a Sufficient discharge to
the Said Treasurer for Such payment, And the Paid Mr. Northcote< no role >
being now examined as to the repaires done to Hicks hall , and
whether there Still remains any thing not amended or
repaired; he acquainted this Court that he was Satisfyed except
as to Some very Small matters, the expence of which he doth
not now known, whereupon this Court doth expect and
declare that the Said Mr. Northcote< no role > do from hence forth keep
the [..] Said Sessions house called Hicks hall in good & Sufficient
repair according to the tenor of the Condition of a Bond by him
in Such behalf given, But as to the goods and furniture
belonging to this County and now in the Great Dineing
