Order for appointing
Mr. John Wilson< no role > High
Constable of Holborn
Division within the
Hundred of Ossulston }

Whereas the Office of high Constable of Holborn Division within
the Hundred of Ossulston in this County is now Vacant by the
death of Philip Cholmondely< no role > Gent deced late high Constable of
the Same Division This Court doth appoint John Wilson< no role > of the
parish of St. Giles in the fields within the Said Division and,
Hundred in this County Gent to be high Constable of Holborn
Division aforesaid within the Said Hundred of Ossulston in this
County in the Stead & place of the Said Philip Cholmondely< no role > ,
And doth Order that the Said John Wilson< no role > do forthwith attend
this Court And take his Oath for his due execution of the Office of
high Constable of the Said Division within the Hundred and
County aforesaid.

pay Several Sums of
money to workmen for
repairs done to Hicks hall,
and also £3..7s..10d. to Mr.
Thos. Northcote< no role > the
Housekeeper for moneys
by him disbursed for
other repairs, And Mr.
Northcote from henceforth
to keep the Hall in repair,
And the Court of Sessions to
direct the charge of altering
or repairing County goods
& furniture in the Great
Dining Room of Hicks

Whereas John Whitford< no role > Plaisterer , Joseph Jackson< no role > Bricklayer , John
Warden Plumber, Cotes Dix Painter, Richard Jupp< no role > Carpenter ,
Thomas Williams< no role > Glazier , & Charles Wain wright Smith contracted
to do Several repairs to the Sessions house called Hicks hall in St. John
Street in this County for the respective Sums of money hereunder
Specifyed written over against their respective names (to wit)

Which Sums of money amount in the whole to the Sum of
twenty two pounds Seventeen Shillings & three pence, And It appearing
to this Court that Mr. Thomas Northcote< no role > Housekeeper of Hicks hall
hath by direction of the Court disbursed Several Sums of money
for cleaning & repairing the clock of Hicks hall , cleaning the two
Dining Rooms, and for Some other repaires done to the Said Hall
to the persons here under named as appears by their Several
receipts (to wit)
