in Order to enforce the repairing the pavement of the
Said Hay Market as in and by the Said Order are
directed.

By Adjornmt. on Thursday the 17th. day of February 1736

Order for Meeting of
Committee concerning
the Hay Market }

It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby
recomended & referred unto the Standing Committee of
his Maties Justices of the peace for this County formerly
appointed to oversee the Hay-Market in the parishes of St.
Martin in the fields and St. James within the Liberty of
Westminster in this County (to wit) the right honble. John

Knt . Sr . George Walter< no role > Knt . the honble. William Clayton< no role > Esqr.
John Milner< no role > Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > Nathaniel Blackerby< no role > John
Mercer Richard Farwell< no role > John Meard< no role > Oliver Lambart< no role >
Thomas Wynn< no role > Mark Frecker John Lawton< no role > Esqrs . and also
to the Justices of the peace herein after named who are
now added to and appointed to be of the Said Committee
(to wit) Benjamin Burroughs< no role > Ferdinand Springall< no role >
Thomas Mulso< no role > Thomas Dummer< no role > Anthony
Chamberlain
< no role > Theodore Smith< no role > & Michael Margetts< no role >
Esqrs . or any three or more of them to assemble and
meet together at George's Coffee house near the upper
end of the Hay-Market on Monday the twenty first day
of February instant at ten of the clock in the forenoon
And to inspect the Contract or Contracts entred into by Mr.
John Mist< no role > paviour for his new paving and keeping in
good repair the pavement of the Said Hay-Market ,
And to take a view of the Same Hay-Market , And See if
the Same is kept in good and Sufficient repaire, as the
Said Mr. Mist did by his Said Contract agree to do, and in
what condition the Same now is, And if it Shall appear
that the Said Hay-Market is out of repaire Then to
consider what is proper to be done for the effectual repairing
and keeping the Same in good & Sufficent repaire, And to
make their Report in writing touching the premisses to the
Court of the next General Quarter Sessions of the peace to
be holden for this County.
