Order for returning
thanks to Tho: Lane< no role > Esqr.
Chairman of the Court
for his great Services.}

His Maties Justices of the peace for the County of Middx
now assembled at this present General Sessions of the
peace holden for the Said County Do order that their
thanks be and they are hereby given unto Thomas
Lane Esquire Chairman for this of this Court for the
great Services by him done to the Said County in his
prudent administration of Justice.

By Adjornmt. on Thursday the 17th. day of February 1736

Chairman of the Court
in the Stead of Thomas
Lane Esqr }

His Maties Justices of the peace for the County of Middx now
assembled at this present General Sessions of the peace holden
for the Said County Do elect Edward Barker< no role > Esqr . to be
Chairman of the General Quarter and General Sessions of
the peace to be holden for the Same County between Easter
one thousand Seven hundred and thirty Seven and
Michaelmas then next following in the Stead & place
of Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr . the present Chairman.

Bromley who hath
resigned his places of
House keeper of Hicks Hall
& Cryer of the Sessions, to
be discharged from the
Same}

Mr. Thomas Bromley< no role > House keeper of Hicks Hall and Cryer of
the General Quarter and General Sessions of the peace for this
County being now present and declaring to this Court that
he resigned his Said offices or places of House keeper and
Cryer to his Maties Justices of the peace for the said County now
assembled at this present General Sessions, And praying
that this Court will please to discharge him from the
Same It is thereupon Ordered by this Court that the said
Thomas Bromley< no role > be and he is hereby absolutely
discharged from his said Offices or places of Housekeeper
and Cryer, And this Court doth declare the Same to be
now Vacant.
