Justices of the peace for this County or any three or more
of them as a Committee to assemble & meet to gether at
the Dwelling house belonging to the House of Correction
aforesaid, And to view and inspect the State & condition of
the Said House of Correction and the dwelling house and
appurtenances there to belonging if any and what
repaires are wanting & necessary to be forthwith done
thereunto for Secureing the Same against the Weather,
And for that purpose to take to their assistance Such able
workman or workman as they Shall think fit, And to
make an estimate of the charge & expence of doing Such
repaires, And to Order and direct Such repaires as are
absolutely necessary to be forthwith done to the Said
premisses for Secureing the Same against the weather
as the said Committee Shall think fit, And also to
consider of the other matters comprized in the Said
Petition, And to make their Report touching the premisses
to the Court of General Quarter or General Sessions of
the peace for this County.
