Order limiting the
alteration of Judgmts.
pronounced agt. persons
convicted upon Indictmts.}

For prevention of Some irregular proceedings in this
Court It is recomended unto his Maties Justices of the
peace for this County to be assembled in Sessions to
observe that [..] no Judgment which Shall hereafter be given
by the Court against any person convicted or to be convicted
upon an Indictment where a Fine or any other
punishment Shall be Selt and the Judgment actually
pronounced in Court (unless where the Fine Shall be
Sett in order to give time to the parties to agree the
matters in difference between them) Shall be
afterwards altered or changed, unless the Majority of
the Justices who were present at the trial and at the
time of resolveing upon the Sentence or Judgment,
give their consent thereto and their approbation of the
Said alteration.

It is Ordered by this Court that John Higgs< no role > Gent Treasurer
of the moneys raised in this County to defray the
expences of passing & maintaining of Vagrants Do
thereout pay unto Robert Chester< no role > late Petty Constable
of the parish of Kensington in this County the Sum
of four pounds five Shillings & one penny in full
of all moneys due to him for his trouble & expences
in passing releiving & maintaining of Vagrants,
and in full of all his demands from this County,
And that the receipt of the Said Robert Chester< no role >
together withis Order Shall be a Sufficient discharge
to the said Treasurer for Such payment.
