It is Ordered by this Court that Richard Roswell< no role > Headborough
of Holloway in the Parish of Islington within Finsbury
Division in this County do attend this Court at Hicks's
Hall in St. John Street in the said County on Saturday
the Seventeenth Day of January Instant at ten of
the Clock in the forenoon of the Same day to Answer
what on his Matie's behalf shall be Objected against
him for not Obeying the precept of Edward Hutchings< no role >
Gent High Constable of the said Division, whereby the
said Headborough was Required to make a Return
of Alehouses Keepers & Retailers of Brandy [..] .
Geneva & other Distilled Liquors at such time and
place as was by the said precept directed, And that
the said Mr. Hutchings do attend this Court at
the time abovementioned.

Whereas by an Order made in October Sessions 1729
It was recommended unto his Maties Justices of the
peace for this County residing within the Respective
Divisions in the Same County not to grant any Licence
or Licences to any person or persons keeping a Chan-
-dlers Shop or Shops to Sell any Brandy Strong Waters
or Distilled Liquors by Retail to the Intent That the
Mischief in the Said Order mentioned might be
prevented for the future. It is thought fit and
Ordered by this Court that the aforesaid Order be
publickly read yearly in the presence of the
Justices of the peace of this County on the County
Day of every Sessions of the peace for this County
next preceding the Generall Renewing of the
Licences of Ale house keepers & Retailers of
Brandy & other distilled Spirituous Liquors residing
within the said County And that the said Order be
