William Bowman< no role > for his trouble & expences in passing
& releiving of Vagrants, he duely performing the Said
Service, which Salary was to be paid to him quarterly as
the Court of General or Quarter Sessions of the peace for
this County Should in that behalf Order & direct, This
Court being of opinion not to continue the payment
of the Said Salary any longer than Christmas next
Doth Order that the payment of the Said Salary (being
Seven pounds & ten Shillings a quarter) do cease &
determine from & after Christmas now next ensueing
And the Vagrants comeing into the Said parish of
Southmims after that time are to be passed releived
& conveyed from thence in Such manner as they
are & have been in other parts of this County.

By Adjornmt. on Friday the 12th. day of Dec 1735

Division, Finsbury
Division, and the
Tower Division to
attend the Comittee
of Justices at Hicks hall
concerning the Sellers
of Geneva, Etc}

It is Ordered by this Court that the Several high
Constables of Holborn Division , Finsbury Division,
and the Tower Division in this County do attend
Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr . & others of the Committee of
his Maties. Justices of the peace of this County appointed
to meet on occasion of the mischeifs occasioned by
the Selling of Geneva & other distilled Spirituous
liquors, at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the Said
County on Tuesday the Sixteenth day of December
instant at ten of the clock in the forenoon touching
Such matters as Shall be then & there enjoyned
them by the Said Committee.
