proper that the Said Mr. Barker Should on that occasion be then
present It is Ordered by this Court that the Said Henry Barker< no role > Esqr . doe
make up his account in writing of all Such Sum & Sums of money
as have already been paid or Shall in the mean time be paid to him by
vertue of the aforesaid Rate, and from what parishes or places in this
County, and of his disbursements out of the Same, and of all Such
Sum & Sums of money as Shall be then Standing out and in
arreare upon the Said Rate, And that he doe produce his Said
Account and proper Vouchers for the Same before the Court on the
first day of the next General Quarter Sessions of the peace to be
holden for this County (to witt) Monday the thirteenth day of
January now next ensueing at one of the clock in the afternoon
of the Same day to the intent that the Said Account & Vouchers
may be laid before the Court of the Same Sessions on the County day
of that Sessions (to witt) Thursday the Sixteenth day of the Same
Month of January next.

some method for
recovery & obtaining
the arreares Standing
out on the Vagrant
Rate}

Whereas a Rate was made in Easter Sessions one thousand Seven
hundred & thirty four upon the Several parishes & places in this
County for raiseing of moneys to defray the expences of passing &
releiving of Vagrants, Now upon information given to this Court
that Several of the Said parishes & places refuse to raise the Quota
or assessment charged upon Such parishes & places respectively
by the aforesaid Rate Insomuch that considerable Sums of moneys
are Standing out & in arreare upon the Said Rate, It is
Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby recommended &
referred unto the Committee of his Maties Justices of the peace
for this County (appointed to take the accounts of the Treasurers of
the Said County) to consider of Some proper method to be taken
for the recovery & obtaining of the moneys Standing out & in
arreare upon the Said Rate, And to make their Report in
writing touching the Said matter to the Court of General
Quarter Sessions of the peace to be holden for this County.

It is Ordered by this Court that John Higgs< no role > Gent Treasurer of the
moneys raised in this County to defray the expences of passing &
releiving of Vagrants Doe thereout forthwith pay unto Henry
Mackris
< no role > one of the High Constables within the Hundred of
Edmonton in the Said County the Sum of Forty pounds for the
Salary allowed to him for his trouble and expences in passing &
