Justices of the peace of this County or any three or more of them as
a Committee to assemble & meet together, And to take a view of
Hicks Hall aforesaid, And to take to their assistance Such able
workman or Workmen as they Should think fit, and to See if
Hicks Hall aforesaid is out of repaire, And if any and what
repaires are wanting & necessary to be done thereto, And if it
Shall appeare that the Same is out of repaire Then to make an
estimate of what it will cost well & Sufficiently to repaire the
Same, And It was also referred to the Said Committee to examine
and See what money the Petr had expended & laid out for
cleaning & amending the Said windows, and doeing things
necessary about the Said House, And to consider if new
Umbrellas were necessary or proper to be put up, And to make
their Report in writing touching the premisses with their
opinion whatwatwas fit to be done in relation thereunto,
unto the Court of General or General Quarter Sessions of the
peace for this County, And whereas It appeareth that new
Umbrellas have been provided & putt up, But that the
Said Committee have not yet met together touching the
other matters to them referred by the said Order, And It being
now mentioned that it is proper that the said Hall Should
be made more commodious & warm for the winter half
year, It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is
hereby recommended unto & referred unto the Justices of
the peace above named and also Sd. William Oyborne< no role > Knt . &
Alexander Garrett< no role > Esqrs . two other Justices of the peace of
this County or any three or more of them as a Committee to
meet together And to take a view of Hicks Hall aforesaid
and to proceed in the matters referred by the Said former
Order in Such manner as is hereby directed, and also to
appoint a proper Surveyor and See and consider how
the Said Hall may be made more commodious & warm
for the winter half year, and what the expence thereof
may amount unto, And to make their Report in writing
touching the premisses with their opinion what is fit
to be done inrelation thereunto, unto this Court on
Thursday the twelfth day of September next.
