Esqr , Trearer of the
Vagrant money to pay
£180. to Henry Mackris< no role >
high Constable of the
parish of Endfield } Applicacon haveing been made to the Court of General
Quarter Sessions heretofore holden and alsoe to the Court of
this present General Sessions of the peace now holden for this
County by Henry Mackris< no role > high Constables for the parish of
Endfield within the Hundred of Edmonton in the Said
County praying that the Court would be pleased to Order
that the Sume of one hundred and forty pounds due to
him for his Salary of forty pounds P Ann for his trouble
& expences in passing and releiving of Vagrants for three
years and an halfe ending at Michmas one thousand
Seven hundred & thirty one, and forty pounds more
for his Salary for the like Service for one yeare ending
at Michmas one thousand Seven hundred & thirty two
may be paid unto him the Said Henry Mackris< no role > , This
Court upon inquiry & examinacon into the truth of
the premises being Satisfyed that the Said Sume of one
hundred and forty pounds or any part thereof was
not paid to him by William Cotesworth< no role > Esqr . the late
Treasurer And that the Same & also the Said Sume of
forty pounds amounting together to the Sume of one
hundred & eighty pounds is now due and owing to
him the Said Henry Mackris< no role > for his Service above
menconed, It is Ordered by this Court that Andrew Osborne< no role >
Esqr . one of his Maties Justices of the peace for this County
and alsoe present Treasurer of the moneys raised within
the Said County to defray the expences of passing and
releiving of Vagrants Doe thereout forthwith pay unto
the Said Henry Mackris< no role > the Said Sume of one hundred and
eighty pounds in full payment & Satisfaccon of his
Said Salary of forty pounds P Ann for his trouble and
expences in passing & releiving of Vagrants untill Michmas
one thousand Seven hundred and thirty two inclusive,
And that the receipt of the Said Henry Mackris< no role > together with
this Order Shall be a Sufficient discharge to the Said Mr.
Osborne for Such payment.
