Esqr . Trearer of the Vagrant
money to pay £15. to Nichas
Corrall petty Constable of
Southmims }

It is Ordered by this Court that Andrew Osborne< no role > Esqr . one
of his Maties Justices of the peace for this County and alsoe
present Treasurer of the moneys raised within the Said
County to defray the expences of passing and releiving of
Vagrants Doe thereout pay unto Nicholas Corrall< no role > one of
the petty Constables of the parish of Southmims in this
County the Sume of fifteen pounds for the Salary allowed
to him for his trouble and his expences in passing & releiving
of Vagrants for halfe a yeare ending at Michmas last,
And that the receipt of the Said, Nicholas Corrall together
with this Order Shall be a Sufficient discharge to the Said
Mr. Osborne for Such payment.

Order for high Constables
not to be discharged
from their respective
offices untill after they
have respectively
accounted for the
publick money Etc.

Whereas Several high Constables in this County have been
very negligent & remiss is not takeing due care and useing
their endeavours to raise or cause to be raised the publick
moneys assessed by the Court of General Quarter & General
Sessions of the peace holden for the Said County upon the
Several parishes, hamlets & places within their respective
Districts for releife of maimed Soldiers & Mariners, for the
Marshalsea Kings Bench & hospitalls , for the passing &
releiving of Vagrants, and for repairing of the publick
Bridges of this County, by which neglect considerable
Sumes of moneys have been left in arreare & uncollected
upon the Said Rates, And that Some high Constables have
refused or neglected to pay Such moneys as they have
received by vertue of the Said Rates or Some of them
unto the proper Treasurers or Treasurer to whom the
Same were payable, For remedy of which greivance
for the future It is Ordered by this Court that noe
high Constable in this County Shall hereafter be
discharged from his Office of high Constable untill he
