Whereas an Order was made in Easter Sessions last(to witt)at
the General Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for the County of
Middx by adjornmt. on Thursday the ninth day of April last for
the payment of the yearly Sume of Seventy four pounds unto Mr.
John Mist< no role > pavior of the Hay-Market in the parish of St. Martin
in the fields & St. James within the Liberty of Westmr. in the said
County out of the Toll money of the said Hay-Market by
quarterly paymts. for new paving & keeping the pavemt. of the
said Hay-Market in repaire for the Term of twenty one years
comenceing from the twenty fifth day of March One thousand
Seven hundred and thirty And whereas for the consideracon
of the further yearly Sume of Six pounds to be paid out of the
said Toll money to the said John Mist< no role > for the terme of twenty
years comenceing from Lady day one thousand Seven
hundred and thirty one at the same times as are in the said
Order limited for payment of the said yearly sume of seventy
four pounds he the said John Mist< no role > hath relinquished and
released all his right & title to the Sume of Seventy four pounds
payable to him for the first year of the said terme of twenty one
years by Vertue of certain Articles of agreement in that
behalfe made and of the aforesaid Order to the end that the
same may be applied to Satisfy the Sume of Seventy four
pounds to William Brown< no role > late pavior of the Said Hay-Market
which the said William Brown< no role > hath agreed to take in full
Satisfaccon of the Sume of Seventy eight pounds eight Shillings
and three pence the ballance of his bills for paving the said
Hay-market Now to the intent that the Said William Brown< no role >
may be paid & satisfied the said Sume of Seventy four pounds
It is Ordered by this Court that the Collector of the Toll money
of the said Hay-Market (instead of paying the said Sume of
Seventy four pounds payable for the first yeare of the said
term of twenty one years unto the Said John Mist< no role > ) Shall pay
the same out of the said Toll money to the said William
Brown in manner following(vizt.) eighteen pounds ten
Shillings out of the Toll money in his hands at Midsumer last
the further Sume of eighteen pounds ten Shillings on the Feast
day of St. Michael the Archangel now next ensueing, the
further Sume of eighteen pounds ten Shillings on the Feast
day of the birth of our Lord Christ then next following and
the further Sume of eighteen pounds ten Shillings being the
residue and in full payment & Satisfaccon of the said
Sume of Seventy four pounds and of all his demands for
