Sessions one thousand Seven hundred & twenty eight and the
other made in May Sessions one thousand Seven hundred &
twenty nine Ordered to be paid to the said Henry Mackris< no role > by Mr.
Thomas Jones< no role > the then Treasurer who did not pay to him
the same or any part thereof And It is further Ordered by
this Court that the said Mr. Cotesworth do alsoe pay to the
said Henry Mackris< no role > the further Sume of forty pounds for the
allowance made him for his trouble & expences in passing &
releiving of vagrants for one yeare ending at Lady day one
thousand Seven hundred & thirty which Several Sumes
amount in the whole to the Sume of eighty pounds, And
that the receipt of the said Henry Mackris< no role > together with this
Order shall be a Sufficient discharge to the said Mr. Cotesworth
for such payment,

It is Ordered by this Court that William Cotesworth< no role > Esqr.
Treasurer of the moneys raised in this County for the passing
& releiving of vagrants, Doe thereout pay unto Thomas
Martin one of the late Petty Constables of the parish of
Southmims in the said County the Sume of forty pounds for
the Salary allowed to him for his trouble and expences in
passing & releiving of Vagrants for one year ending at
Lady day last, And that the receipt of the said Thomas
Martin together with this Order shall be a Sufficient
discharge to the said Mr. Coteworth for such payment,

Order for admitting Wm.
Rippen Petty Constable
of Southmims into the
Service of passing &
Conveying of Vagrants
in the room of Thomas
Martin}

It is Ordered by this Court that William Rippen< no role > one of the Petty
Constables of the parish of Southmims in this County be and
he is hereby admitted into the service of passing & conveying
of vagrants in & through this County for the year now next
ensueing (unless the Court of General or Quarter Sessions of the
peace shall hereafter Order to the contrary) in the room &
place of Thomas Martin< no role > late one of the Petty Constables of
the said parish, At the like Salary of forty pounds (which was
allowed to the said Thomas Martin< no role > for the like Service) to be
allowed to the said William Rippen< no role > for his trouble & expences
in passing & releiving of Vagrants he duely performing the said
Service, which Salary is to be paid to him quarterly as the Court
of General or Quarter Sessions of the peace for this County shall
in that behalf Order & direct,
