County by adjornmt. on the fourth day of December last to
consider (inter al) of the State of the said Hay-Market , & by
what method the same might be most effectually repaired
(vizt.) Sr. Henry penrice< no role > Knt . Sr . George Walter< no role > Knt. Robert
Thornhill John Milner< no role > This name instance is in set 4214. Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > Bowater Vernon< no role >
John Mohun< no role > Nathaniel Blackerby< no role > William Cotesworth< no role >
John Mercer< no role > Thomas Salt< no role > Thomas Scott< no role > Alexander Chock< no role >
Richard Farwell< no role > & John Meard< no role > Esqrs . or any five or more
of them be & they are hereby desired upon & imediately
after the said John Mists Signing Sealing & delivery of the
said Articles of Agreemt. to Sign Seale & deliver a counter part
of the same to the said John Mist< no role > , And this Court doth further
Order that in consideracon that the said John Mist< no role > his Execrs. or
Admrs. shall forthwith at his & their own proper costs & charges
well & Substantially new pave the said Hay-Market in manner
aforesaid, and well & Substantially repaire, amend and
maintaine Such pavement with all & all manner of
need full & necessary reparacons & amendments when & as
often as necessity shall be dureing the said terme of twenty
one years & leave the Sume in good & Substantiall repaire at
the end of the said terme according to the tenor of the said
Articles Samuel Weaver< no role > the present Collector, or the Collector
for the time being of the moneys ariseing by the toll payable
for the Hay & Straw brought or to be brought into & Standing
to be Sold in the said Hay-Market shall thereout yearly and
every year dureing the said terme of twenty one years to be
computed from the twenty fifth day of March One thousand
Seven hundred & thirty well & truely pay or cause to be paid
unto the said John Mist< no role > his Execrs. or Admrs. the yearly Sume
of Seventy four pounds of lawfull mony of Great Britain
on the four most usuall Feast days or days of payment
in the year (vizt.) the Feast days of the Nativity of St. John
the Baptist , St. Michael the Archangel , the Nativity of our
Lord, Christ and the Annunciacon of the blessed Virgin.
