repaire from Easter day One thousand Seven hundred
and thirty for the terme of one and twenty years,
and to leave the same in good & Substantial repaire
at the end of the said terme for the Annual Sume of
Seventy pounds payable quarterly And for neglect of
reparacon of the pavement after Six days notice in
writing to Suffer the pavement to be repaired by Order
of a Committee of Justices and to allow the same to be
deducted out of the next quarterly payment And the
said Committee further Report That as to the other
matters contained in their said former Report touching
which the Court in January Sessions last made noe
Order & which are referred back to the said Committee
they have noe reason to alter their opinion, And as to the
Number of Justices of which the Standing Committee
proposed should consist and for which a blank was
left in the said former Report the Committee leave it to
the Judgment of this Court to fill the same up as not
thinking it proper for the Committee to doe, But
apprehend that Such of the Justices who live nearest the
Hay market and frequently pass thro' it may be the
most proper & usefull, And further that as the proposall
made by Mr. Mist to new pave the Hay market Etc for
Seventy pounds P Ann and charge of collecting the
duty at four Shillings P pound will not exceed together
ninety pounds P Ann, and the toll at the least
produceing One hundred pounds P Ann whereby a
Surplus of ten pounds P Ann at the least will be
left over and above the charge of new paveing the
Hay market and Keeping the same in repaire for
twenty one years, the said Committee thought it
proper ( tho' not referred to them by either of the said
Orders) to ask Mr. Mist on what terms in case his
