Deputy of the time and place to be appointed for
the Meeting of his Majestyes Justices of the Peace
of the said County in Order to deliver the
Address to his Majestie upon the present
posture of Affaires, And that Notice be given
to the Justices of the Peace of meet at such
time and place for the purpose aforesaid,

The humble Address of the Deputy Lieutenants
and the Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex

Most gracious Sovereign

We your Majesties Dutifull and Loyal
Subjects being deeply Sensible of the many great
and invaluable Blessings We enjoy under your
wise and happy Administration and of the tender
Regard your Majesty hath always had to the
Civil and Religious Rights of all your Subjects
cannot sufficienty express our Resentment and
Indignation at the conjunction of the Emperor
and the King of Spain to invade our Trade
in its most valuable Branches to wrest from
us Gibralter and Port Mahon (Places of
the utmost importance to these Nations
with respect to their Trade and Naval Power)
acquired in the course of a long expensive and
bloody Warr and yeilded to us by the most
