Solemn. Treatys and their designs to place upon
the Throne of these Kingdoms the Pretender to
your Majesties Crown and thereby to impose upon
us the Yoke of Superstition and Arbitrary Power
in exchange for the full Enjoyment of our pure
Religion, our most excellent Laws and envied
Liberty.
We humbly beg leave to assure your
Majesty that we will to our utmost Power not
only most cheerfully and readily exert our
selves in enabling your Majesty to Shew
a just Resentment for any Injuries done or
Indignity offered to your Majesty and your
People But are ready at all hazards to
Support your Sacred Person and
Government
and the Protestant Succession
in your Illustrious Family the only means
We know of preserving our Constitution and
expressing our Gratitude to our late
Deliverer King William the third of
Glorious and immortal Memory.
