Whereas upon Information given unto the Court of
the last Generall Quarter Sessions of the Peace
holden for this County by adjornment on Thursday
the Twelfth day of January last that the Deputies
and Agents of

Clerke of the Markett
of his Majesties
Household
had and did exact and receive great
Sumes of Money of Tradesmen and Ale house keepers
in the said County under pretence of Weighing of
their Weights and Measureing of their quarts,
pints and other Measures, and that such proceeding
was illegall and oppressive and could not be
Justifyed, And the said Mr. Robe being then present
and insisting on the legallity of their proceedings
by Vertue of the Patent granted of the Office of
Clerke of the said Markett to him and the said Mr.
Matthews, The said Court upon reading the
aforesaid Patent Did Order that the consideracon
of the said Patent and of the extent thereof and
of the Power and Authority thereby Granted
should be adjourned untill the County day in
this present Generall Sessions of the Peace
