Honour money and sockett money by him received of the
Justices of the peace of this County, and of other publique
moneys by him received, and of his disbursments on the
behalf of this County and to report a State of the said accounts
unto the Court of Generall or Quarter Sessions of the peace for
this County.

P adjorn Sabti: 16o die July 1726 .

Order touching the
makeing retorns of
Free holder Etc}

Complaint haveing been made unto this Court that the petty
Constables and Headboroughs in this County have very much
neglected their Duty For that they have formerly retorned
very imperfect defective and insufficient lists of persons haveing
estates in their respective Districts who are qualified to serve
upon Jurys which neglect hath been of great detriment
to the publique, It is thought fit and Ordered by this
Court that the respective petty Constables and headboroughs
of the severall parishes and places in this County Doe
forthwith after notice hereof take a true account and make
and prepare true and perfect Lists fairly written of the
true Christian names surnames, places of aboad and
additions of all and every person and persons between
the age of twenty one years and the age of seventy
yeares haveing within the respective Districts (for
which the said petty Constables and Headboroughs
doe serve) either in their owne names or in the names
of any persons in trust for them ten pounds by the
yeare at least above reprizes of Lands or Tenements
either Freehold or Coppyhold or of ancient Demesn,
and qualified to Serve upon Jurys for triall of causes
depending in his Maties Courts of Law, And that the
said petty Constables and Headboroughs doe personally
attend and retorn such lists fairly written as aforesaid
to the high Constable of the Division in which they
reside at such time and place as he shall for that
purpose appoint, which lists are to be carefully
examined and corrected by the said high Constable
and to be reterned to the Court of the next Generall
